FAQ

Due to Leederville Oval being upgraded to an AFL pitch, and is no longer available for events we had to love the festival to Birdwood Square.

Kicking off at 10am, the parade will start at the corner of Beaufort and  Brisbane Street, in Highgate.

This free festival will be held at Birdwood Square 11am – 6pm on Saturday 15th March 2025.

Everyone’s welcome.  The festival is a family fun day celebrating Irish culture and heritage but you don’t have to be Irish to attend or enjoy the festival. It’s a dog friendly event once dogs are on leads.

No, the festival is free and no tickets are required. We do recommend arriving early if you need parking as this is limited. We also advise using public transport if that’s a possibility.

The full main stage line-up is below. It’s also included in the festival booklet which will be handed out on the day and is available on our website here:

St Patrick’s Day Parade - Perth St Patrick's Day Festival

Our Festival Map can be found on our website and in the booklet.

We have the very best of Irish food, craft and gift as well.

Yes there’s a Coles close by and a service station.

Not likely in previous years it’s been a really hot day so please come prepared with a hat and sun screen. If in the event of rain the festival will go ahead as planned. Come prepared i.e. with umbrellas and rain jackets. A little bit of rain is not enough to stop us celebrating the biggest day of the year.

Our Festival is perfectly located close to bus and public transport.

Street parking is available in Highgate but limited due to road closures. There is also parking behind The Brisbane hotel.

There is no BYO alcohol allowed. The event is licensed and there is a bar on site.

Yes, there will be lots of seating but you’re welcome to bring your own as well.

Lots! The festival is full of kids activities and activations. Face painting, art and craft tent, music lessons, Irish dance performances and more. There will also be some special guests roaming throughout the day.

There will be hydration stations on the field.
